Microsoft is offering a time-limited beta version of its upcoming OS , Vista for free. However one needs to pay the shipping charges. For India, it's working out to be 700/-. So if you want to use Vista till 31st June 2007, go ahead and order online from the microsoft website. But before you do that .. do have a look at the system requirements section of the webpage. Vista is demanding, it needs atleast a DirectX 9 compatible GPU and a minimum of half a gig of RAM on your machine before it can show you some magic.
